I posted a report from turtle bayou a couple weeks ago but the sacs are still biting there. Made a trip today and ended up with 9 bass 24 sac-A-lait and all the lake runners and big bluegill you want to catch.

The fish are on in turtle bayou. If you halfway know how to fish, you can catch a bunch of sac a lait right now. Friday and Saturday was a late morning bite due to the moon. It should get better and better as the weekend approaches again.

Richard Wolters - water dog

Best training book ever written. I train labs based off this book. I’ve probably read it 10+ times.

Inshore lizardfish.

Fairly common. But not to catch on a rod and reel. Most caught in trawls.

Freshwater City launch is silted in bad and very shallow. I launched a 27 world cat there a week ago on high tide and got stuck as soon as I got off the trailer. An hour later and finally got back on the trailer and went back to the camp.

Honestly your best bet is rollover launch in pecan island. But the launch is garbage and if you back too far in you will run off the ledge of the launch....have fun getting it out of the water if that happens.

If you launch at rollover you have to cross over trinity shoals going out... it’s always rough as hell
