Been going nearly every weekend fishing and haven't much luck in Lafitte. Water dirty and too low, windy or storming. Trying again this Sunday and looking for some tips on where to fish. Want to target reds specks or sheepshead. Any advice would be greatly appreciated for 2 weekend fisherman looking to fill the ice chest and the freezer. Thanks!

Looking for reports for Trout at Little Lake in Lafitte. Went to Lake Brussle Saturday couldn't get out early too much fog. Going again Friday and want to try again. We caught a few at bay l'ours didn't see any birds diving on shrimp though. Fished open water the rest of the day not much luck.

Since the weather tomorrow looks great. Nice smooth water we will be making the run to Brusle Lake. Rising tide early in the morning all the way through after noon should be a good day.

We are cancelling. We were going to go tomm but with a steady wind coming from the south will make the water too dirty and rough to fish. Areas that may produce would be inside the canals with a rising tide in the afternoon tomm. Staying on the south sides of the banks would make the water cleaner. Sunday is not going to be good. Cold front coming in Saturday night and it'll be cold in the morning as well as small watercraft advisory throughout the day. Not ideal fishing conditions. If you can get out tomm at daybreak that will be your best bet. Fish the falling tide and it'll start rising around noon perfect time to make your way back in before the conditions worsens.
