I recently obtained a free boat trailer from a friend (legally) but he does not have any registration papers for it. Does anyone know if I can get a license plate for this trailer without any registration papers.
Thanks in advance…………….

Launched out of the public landing in Golden Meadow in search of some reds and do some prefall scouting for some specks. Had a late start due to a flat tire on my boat trailer. Ironic enough it happened right in front of Cabelas on I-10. Launched and on the water around noon. Noticed the water was very high (almost to the top of the boat launch walk way). I had my kayak in tow today and mainly fished out of it for some reds. It would have been a great day to have some shrimp under a cork because water visability was very low. I tried finding some shrimp around Golden Meadow before I launched but could not find any. I also forgot my cast net (shrimp were everywhere) so I had to use my old faithful gold spoon. Tough day because I did not catch nada which is a bit odd. I did keep the skunk off me by landing a few specks in Catfish Lake on my way back in. No brainer here fishing under the birds. The tide never did really drop so I think that was my problem. Glad to see the specks are moving in.

You would probably do a bit better @ the blind river landing off of HWY 61.......

With over 100,000 acres already affected why would you even take the risk regardless of whether it is the law or not.

It is true. I caught the specks on a H&H shrimp (advocado and red) under a cork.

Try bckfc as mentioned earlier.

Been fishing out of a kayak for 6 years now. The kayak you get is all dependant on what you want to spend. Plenty of good ones out there. 14 foot is a good length.

I have a wilderness systems T140 and a native watercraft ultate 12. I use my Carolina skiff as a mothership to get me back in the marsh. The kayak I use to get into the duck ponds. Great way to get away from the crowds.

If the fisheries were suffering than the state/Feds would change the regulations. All the guides I have ever been around have been nothing but professional.

Nothing wrong with a man making an honest living.

Capt Jeff put us on so many reds that I literally wore a blister on my finger from pulling so many in.

Everything about the trip was excellent in a not so perfect day to hit the water. Great day to be in the marsh with my Dad. Looking forward to booking my trip for next year with Delta Dawn already.
