Saw a post on FB that Orange Grove is now closed to the public? Is this a fact? Now the more serious question what are we going to do about it? Please chime in with serious comments! @Bill Lake please get involved I know you fish that area. If any one knows him please contact him. If we let this continue we will no longer have any places to fish. It is time to make a change!!! Sign up to leave a comment it is free!!!!

Looking for tips and tricks to fishing an incoming tide. I noticed in the coming week in the Dularge area, low tide will be at daylight then rising the rest of the day. How do I fish a rising tide vs a falling tide. Capt Marty LaCoste and Capt Travis Miller please chime in as I fish the same general area as you guys and I appreciate the post yall put up.

I have a question about water quality. The water in the grassy lake area this week was super clear and black. A gentlemen at the launch told me that water is the type that has less oxygen in it mostly during the summer time. He mentioned he had several catfish lines set out and the fish he caught in the black clean water were all dead, and the fish he caught in the stained water were all still alive. Can anyone comment on this?

believe it or not I use a copper grounding rod from lowes or home depot. drilled a hole in the dull end and put a stainless steel shackle. Works like a charm! cost less than $20

@Miller-Time, Judging by the pictures it looks like they still have a nice bite in the inside marsh? I hoping to go tomorrow afternoon when the tide is falling. Was going to try main bayous dumping into lakes!

There are rallies and organized protest for everything else that people feel strongly about when are we going to set a date and time to all meet at the marina and travel as a group to the nearest private property sign and dare them to kick us out? You all think commenting on Louisiana Sportsman and FB is going to do any good? Dream on! Lets get together and fight for what we believe!
