February 6th, It was an evening bite that day. The fish were starting to get right, the males were working the banks and the females were staged out... All caught on black and chartreuse jigs.
Trout starting to move in. Most were caught on Matrix shad shrimp creole color. In lakes and bays in golden meadow all the way out to Bay Raccourci.
Reds still biting as of 9/10/2018. Bait shrimp was the ticket today. Between golden meadow and leeville. Water was still a little high but the fish are there.
The reds have been stacked up since Tropical storm Gordon came through. The high water isnt slowing them down a bit. Bait shrimp, or plastics both work. Golden meadow area. Trout are starting to move in as well
