Salty, thanks for documenting this!
I've been out of town and reserving comment until I saw how this post played out. Since it was brought back up I'll make a comment from my observations that weekend.
I fished all over Breton Sound and Black Bay May 17 and 18 for the Italian-American fishing rodeo and know what I saw 1st hand.
Like you, there is no doubt in my mind the pogie boats are responsible for this particular fish kill. There were 2 of the big boats working that immediate area with 2 spotter planes and numerous catch boats. There was over 1 ft. tide range those days and wind causing the foam line extending from that group of boats.
What do you think would happen if WL&F pulled up on a boatload of drunk fishermen after following a string of beer cans for a mile down current?
Dead zone and algae bloom in Breton Sound, right!
Really nice deer! That's what a marsh buck looks like.
If they haven't found a stand. I'd almost bet he left one behind if he almost got caught and left the other stuff. Could be screw-in steps with a hang-on or a climber over in the bushes about 20 yards away but he was certainly up a tree with that camera set up.
I got a nice stand and camera that way after catching a trespasser coming out one night. Backtracked him the next morning and found his setup.
I just posted a comment and somehow this crazy thing had me logged in as Stewartfan. I don't know who that is or how that happened, but sorry about that. I didn't realize until after I read the post.
That is some good information and something I wasn't aware of.
What's the salt content of beer? Just kidding!
It's a shame but drewb will probably attempt to contradict everything you said.
Good looking mount.
I bet she's proud to show it off.
Tell Granny 'Good Job'.
I've got a Big Easy also.
I wanted to ask the same thing back when I 1st read his post.
If anyone else has any good homemade injection recipes, please post them up.
Great bird Dustin!
You'll never forget dat one.
Way to go, Nice bird.
My kind of family.
You better marry that girl.
Touching video and tribute to a great man.
The link to the petition didn't work but I think I found the correct one and signed the petition.
Hope you don't mind me putting the complete link up.http://www.change.org/petitions/corporate-citizens-fda-executives-neurologists-authorize-and-make-available-compassionate-use-drugs-for-als-patients-nowGood luck with everything, Mr. Kendal. You and your family will be in our prayers!
Hank, This sounds simple but I've seen it on 2 HR's that were intermittently misfiring. Make sure the hammer/hammer extension is not contacting the bottom of the scope. No misfires since.
Hank3488, this sounds simple but is easy to miss. Make sure you have clearance between the hammer and bottom of the scope and that the hammer extension is not contacting the scope. Not saying that's it but I've seen it 3 times now with HR's intermittently misfiring. Have not had a misfire since.
