I got stopped by the Game Warden, after loading my boat on the tralier. He said that any size boat operated by a hand tiller motor everyone needs to wear a life jacket while boat is under power. I thought is was Class A vessels only 16' or less. My boat is 18' long with a gator tail. Does anyone know what the rule is?????????

Looking at buying a new mud motor. I hunt in farily deep water from 3' to 10'. ( No Mud ). Problem is the water lillies has taken over, under the water lillies is clear water, no thick grass. On an 18' boat blind w/ 3 people , 80 lb dog & gear, which mud motor will peform the best in these conditions?? 35 HP long Tail or 35 HP surface Drive ( Gator Tail ect.... ) Also, which motor if you were to stop in the middle of a thick patch of water lillies would have less problem getting out of ???

A comment titled: Good Friend Died dragging a deer out in response to a report titled: Dragging out a deer by hand

Had a good friend die of heart failure while dragging a buck he killed out of the woods. They found him dead face down with the horns still in his hand. This had to be the worst drag ever.

A comment titled: No Recoil in response to a report titled: .45-70 and/or .444

I have a .444 H&R & while shooting at a target it kicks about like a 30.06, But while shooting @ deer it has no recoil what so ever. So I suggest that you sight in the gun & let your son shoot at the deer. He won't even notice the recoil.

A comment titled: Black Bellied Whistling Ducks in response to a report titled: New Duck in Town?

They are common in Central Louisiana. Last duck season we got board because there were no good ducks flying & killed about 30 of them. Hard to pluck. We had to skin all of them. But they are good in Gumbo. Also they are very easy to kill.
