Good evening, gents. For the instance of purchasing a LA resident lifetime hunting and fishing license for a two year old, what is done in regard to the required hunters Ed card/number? Would this age fall into the LA infant resident lifetime hunting and fishing option? Thanks in advance. FowlMouth
Anyone have any reviews on Rockwell-AlumaFab out of Chalmette (St. Bernard) ? Have always run a Hanko or Scully and would like to know if Rockwell - Alumafab is of the same superior construction. I appreciate the assistance. Photos welcomed. Thanks, FowlMouth
After endless research, reviews, and online opinions, I still don't find myself any closer to definitively choosing the 'superior' semi-auto shotgun. I'll tap into you all and get some local hands' opinions. Looking at the A400 extreme, SBE2, Super Vinci, Versamax, 935, and Maxus. Haven't seen or heard much of the SX3. Anybody shooting or having shot these guns feel free to enlighten me. Never fooled with an auto, been a Mossberg pump man forever.
Anyone have, or know someone who has a clip for a Marlin 55, 12 gauge goose gun. The 2 shell clip. Let me know.
LOOKING FOR A MARLIN 55 'GOOSE GUN'. ANYONE HAVE ONE OF THE GIANTS IN GOOD SHAPE AND LOOKING TO GET RID OF IT, SEND ME A MESSAGE. THANKS
Alright guys, I am in need of some opinions. I am in the market to repower my aluminum boat. I am stuck in between a 115 Evinrude E-Tec .VS. a fourstroke Yamamha 115. Maybe some of you have either of these engines and can give me some personal input. Any input is welcome and appreciated. Thanks

Got this beauty over the Thanksgiving holiday. Approx. 200lb. sow. 30 yards with a savage .270 and bushnell sportview. cant wait for some griads and sausage.
How about some old haunted camp stories fellas???? Maybe a weird, unexplainable sighting at the old duck/deer camp. Just to give us a little something to think about while we sit in the kitchen with our kerosene lamps and the dog...
Im looking for some feedback on the falcon original rod. Its medium with limit 10-17 lb. with a Penn Captiva reel...Has anyone had any good results with these things??? Or bad?? just post...thanks
Late follow up guys, but I did end up purchasing a 21ââ¬â¢ CC Alumafab and am MORE than pleased. Was a great decision and it seems like a floating tank. I appreciate the feed back. Have a good one! FowlMouth
HE AINT A NUT, HE MUST BE ONE OF THEM 'DEMIDONTS' WHO VOTED FOR OUR CURRENT 'LEADER'. AND I BET HE ALSO IS AN ADVOCATE FOR SAYING THAT IT ISNT OBAMAS FAULT, HE JUST INHERITED IT ALL FROM BUSH... ANY TRUE AMERICAN WILL VOTE FOR A DECORATED, AMERICAN-LOVING VETERAN OVER SOMEONE WHO HONESTLY HATES AMERICA. I STILL PUT MY HAND OVER MY HEART FOR THE PLEDGE, NOT BEHIND MY BACK!
-GOD BLESS LOUISIANA AND AMERICA!
Admirable, what did you say actually???? haha..... I dont agree or disagree with this rule, but a key point they should teach in the course is to SLOW DOWN every vessel. That was the rule with me as a young boy, if you dont slow down, you get a quick slap to the head and no more boat....that simple. What happened to these times man?
ALL DU IS GOOD FOR IS FIGHTING FOR AND ALLOWING THE NORTHERN STATES TO FEED ALL THEY WANT AND KEEP THE BIRDS UP NORTH. ITS COLDER AND THEY HAVE FIVE FOOT PILES OF CORN EVERY 30 FEET IN EVERY FIELD SO THE BIRDS HAVE NO REASON TO LEAVE. THAT AINT DUCK HUNTING MAN. THATS KILLING DUCKS WHILE THEY ARE EATING OR ROOSTING. HUNTING ON A FED FARM AND THEN COMING BACK WITH 42 FULL PLUMED GREEN HEADS IS NOT SPORT NOR NECESSITY, ITS GREED. WHEN DU STARTS DOING THE PREDATOR CONTROL AND THE WATER RESEARCH VIS THE pH LEVEL, THEN MAYBE THEYLL GAIN MORE APPRECIATION. AND MAYBE THEY DONT HAVE TO CHARGE AN ARM AN A LEG FOR THE STAMP AND GEAR WE USE. LOUISIANA GAINS APPROX.
%47 FROM THE HUNTING AND FISHING REVENUES INCLUDING GUNS, GEAR, AND LICENSES. IF BP NEEDS TO GIVE ANYBODY 2.5 MILLION DOLLARS TO SHORTSTOP OUR BIRDS, THEN THEY SHOULD GIVE IT TO LOUISIANA AS A STATE B/C THEY ARE SHORTCHANGING US BY TAKING THE MONEY AWAY THAT PEOPLE WONT SPEND ANYMORE! WHO CONTROLS THIS GARBAGE?? ITS VERY FRUSTRATING!!!
Man I'm having the same issue. Not able to post anything on the classifieds at all!
bump
Pluck that bird real nice. Inject with a butter, garlic, Tony's, and some Dale's. Stick it in a pot half full with Jack Millers BBQ sauce and let sit for 4 hours at 350 degrees. If you feelin a lil outgoing that day, stick a lil teal in that speck you roasting. Put some garlic in the BBQ sauce. Make sure the bird is moist. ENJOY. Call us when its ready so we can come over. haha
The hunters of the FAR south are the ones who should be primarily complaning on here to begin with but still shouldnt even be complaining because if we are griping about the season it means we can still go out hunting to begin with. I hunt South of Leeville and the duck hunting is sporradic every year. I dont care what the fancy little microbiologists say about the ducks, go and turn your ears to an old cajun and you may learn a thing or two. If killing a pregnant hen didnt/wouldnt cause problems to the population of the ducks, dont you think they'd let us do it. No one worries about the specks and deer right now when they're getting hammered down and they find them full of eggs, etc. but wait till they both get into the same situation as ducks. Maybe dont go out and put 1000lbs of feed and outlaw all the ducks like you are out to prove that you will kill all the ducks you want just to show the Feds. The laws are set man, just enjoy that you can still go out in a boat and see a bird. Im no genius or preacher, i hate that the North feeds just as much as the next guy. I killed 8 ducks this past year! EIGHT!!!!! The ducks are being too pressured, we dont need to extend the season, or move it or split it. The way it is is working at least to pop a few birds. I personally dont eat 200 ducks in a seasons time. So why try to get those numbers? We may not even have guns or ammo within the next few years so we need to enjoy it as much as possible..haha. But hey, I do wish the greenheads would come down more often. I've been hunting for 16 years and I've never killed one.
I shoot hogs with a .270 Savage but I would never shoot a squirrel with it. If you're shooting SMALL game like rabbit, squirrel, coon, etc... use a .22 but for coyotes or hogs you will need to get into the larger guns. Or get super good with your .22 and headshot 'em. I can shoot the beer can off a fencepost all day long but I dont trust myself to enough to lose that big 200lb. sow youve been waiting all season for.

SKEET SHOOTING, SKEET SHOOTING, AND MORE SKEET SHOOTING.
Do that all summer and you're gonna be a pro come teal season. No doubts. That all I ever did.

Look, easy solution. Go in Texas and make a page that caters to people like you. Some random nobody who looks up old football statistics and memorizes them to argue a point with. On the website make sure you have a test to see if a person qualifies. Are you rude? Are you ridiculous? Do you wish your state was Louisiana? Most would get 2 out of 3 right, but you're an over achiever so youd get all 3. you could be the pagemaster. Sorry you didnt get to play anything but 4th string football in highschool pal. Call it TexasWhatverfootballwhodatyonder.com and everyone else can come here.
This guy made a funny...when he thinks, speaks, and well, everything else. Sorry the Saints are gonna ride the cowboys to a 14-0 win...We'll tell you hi from Miami. No offense to the respectful Texans on here, but dont people from texas also wear boots, talk funny, are fat, drink beer, and say garbage like "Over Yonder."
couldnt have put it better myself connais pas. Sum good Mardi Gras food when u slap dat on sum french bread with mayo...
nahhhhhh.....near vermillion. whys that?
Just retired my '95 mariner 25 for the new '09 yammy 25. The power increase is ridiculous. I have it on a 14ft as well and boy does it move!!!!!!!! i get 31 easy in it... I got mine from Dagate's in Houma for a little under $2400. The yammy competes with any Etec evin 25 anyday and in any weather.
I've always hunted hogs with my .270. Its a savage bolt action. Has enough stopping power plus some to make sure you aint dragging a 105 lb hog through mud up to your chest..haha
did you skrew around with some bones or whatever to piss this fella off???? they say he seaks out cannibals...lol..i douby youre one of em.
Nahhh man, taking off the cover and lubing everything down in a good idea....it wont hurt anything. i dont recommend a whole can being sprayed at a time, haha, but every little bit helps when preserving the engine.....just get some regular lub spray...supertech maybe
Thanks for the reply! So, what do you actually receive after the purchase? I assume it is up to the parent to promptly send over the childââ¬â¢s hunters Ed completed course info and number to then receive the actual lifetime license, albeit several year post purchase?
