I didn't have a scale to weigh him but was just wondering what the general thoughts are about the weight of this larger than normal hog.

Ok guys I have heard both cans and cannots. Does anyone know the actual law of hunting with one. I have an M4 carbine for coons and coyotes but if one of our big ones walk out can I take him out??

A comment titled: Hooked a huge one also in response to a report titled: 133.5 lb Southern Stingray

did the ray have a steel leader in its mouth with blue mono?? I am almost positive my was quiet a bit larger but you know how fishing stories are. i had one same place this weekend that made us pull anchor and chase before he spooled a Penn 310. then i let the ray pull the 25' deep V Hydra Sport with twin 200's(for sale) around the pass for nearly 90 minutes before i got a bit to rough and popped the line. either way just curious and congratulations that is a HUGE ray so close to the state record

A comment titled: FINES in response to a report titled: Who is with me? Let's Up the Stakes!!! Read all the way.

I think if you get caught the first time its a 1000.00 fine or 15 days in jail manditory. if you get caught the second time its manditory 15 days in jail plus you pay the lease owners share for the next season up to 20,000.00$$ if you can not pay its 60 days in jail. third offense is same fine plus 180 days county lock up. i promise you they will only do it once and they will be thinking twice about doing it the first time anyway.

A comment titled: STAY OUT in response to a report titled: Who is with me? Let's Up the Stakes!!! Read all the way.

you are absolutely right, if you are not sure if you are on your land or not you are probably not, but thats not the people i am talking about, everyone makes mistakes and may cross a property line every now and then if it is not posted, but my property has thousands of dollars in huge yellow gates with reflective tape and NO TRASSPASSING signs, also i have Posted signs about every 15-20 feet all around my property and they still come in. these are the ones that need to be delt with. if nothing is going to happen to them why would they stop.

A comment titled: I am with you in response to a report titled: Who is with me? Let's Up the Stakes!!! Read all the way.

I am with you. I work to hard planting feeding and scouting and letting nice deer pass just so some idiot who doesnt care about anything cut the locks to my gate and kill deer that i have been trying to manage. i say a hunting lease should be an extension of your home like your vehicle and if someone is caught they can be shot or neutered.

A comment titled: NO TRASSPASSING in response to a report titled: Who is with me? Let's Up the Stakes!!! Read all the way.

I think you are exactly right!!!!! i think it is bull$hit that we have to deal with the vandalism, things being stolen and idiots shooting our deer at night and out of season. If there were stiffer penalties maybe they would think twice about doing it. right now they can do it cause if they get caught it is just a slap on the wrist so why would they not try and get away with it. its just like the govt extending unemployment i mean why would someone get a job when they can sit at home on their @ss for another year. its BS and YES i think the DA should prosecute to the fullest and also have federal penalties, it would sure make someone think twice before they COMPLETLY disregard a bright orange NO TRASSPASSING sign.

A comment titled: 3" slug in response to a report titled: Buckshot or Slug

I killed my first 3 with slugs around that same age. It is very capable for taking them down. Just as long as the little one shooting it is comfortable.

A comment titled: dogs that traspass in response to a report titled: what is this cat or dog

I understand that a dog can not read and does not understand boundries. Thats why it is up to you the owner to keep your animals under control. I understand if it happens once maybe twice, but if you dont care enough to keep your dogs some what contained you must not care what happenes to them. So after the second time I see a dog you can believe you will not see him the third time.
