im hunting rice feilds in bunkie...and it sucks big time...where are you hunting at?

dont see whats wrong with not allowing a youth hunt on land that members are paying to duck hunt.not everyone has kids.i dont think its fair for the ones that do not have kids,to have young hunters come in the week before opening day and scare off birds that others payed thousands of dollars to hunt.i have a son and think that there are plenty days out of the 60 day season that he will hunt.if a easy hunt for youths is what we need what about haveing it 2 weeks after the season is closed?just my 2 cents

take advantage of the deal...it sounds like the boats ready to hit the water..if i'd killed only 30 ducks in the past few years i'd sale out to..but maybe you could try being mobile t-boy get the hell out of that place AND KILL SOME DUCKS..hunting in la. has changed so we have to change,pack lite and get movin,you need to go to them, dont wait on them..you already have the settup to do it.O and for those who are waiting on cold fronts you may be waiting awhile pay attention to the last servey there are over 2 million ducks in la.we wont get much more than that at least not in time for jan. 31...i've hunted 3 wma's in la. and 2 wma's in arkansas the ducks are every where you just mite have to work for them.GOOD LUCK

not sure on the max amount of years,but i would think more than 9.i had a dog that was 11 and still had plenty drive,but she had a leg that was broken when she was 2 and at 10 years old i could tell the cold water was hurting her.
also at 11 years old she couldn't hear anything so i retired her.
