Spent yesterday with a good friend trying to get on the Sacalaits we only found a couple of Sac's and a couple of bass in the murky water. We made a move and found some cleaner water and the Lake runners and big blue Gill were on fire, we had a great time filling the coolers and left the fish biting on nearly every cast.

We have been catching plenty of bass in the Bayou Black area, no problem limiting out with 2 or 3 people in the boat. small wacky worm or small fluke in watermelon red worked in cuts and the middle of the canal will result in lots of bites. they are not big but they are plentiful and a lot of fun to catch they also taste really good. we have been picking up some very nice perch an goggle eye in the same spots with jigs and beetle spins. the canals in the copasaw and off the pipeline when not clogged with lilies have been the spots for us so far.

We were fishing 3 ft deep under a cork jig tipped with worm or straight jig head with worm.

we use the motion sensor led solar lights from harbor freight or northern tools, they work fine the hogs get used to the lights coming on and don't spook. they both seem to last ok 2 seasons so far and quite a few hogs.I hope this helps.

We cooked one of those hogs whole on the pit at the camp this weekend and it was good. the pork was tender and juicy and we ate most of it right off of the pit. we need annother one for thanksgiving week, so reset the trap Dwayne
