I was in Venice 3 weekends ago and the Teal were down there in full force, by the thousands. I haven't really seen or heard any news or reports on what the storm did to the birds. Are they still down there? Any help/info would be greatly appreciated with the season opening next weekend!
Steve Riggins up at Bear Creek on the Bayou is in my opinion the best around. He's located in Slaughter, LA. My dog has been there for 4 months and I could not be more pleased with where he is at. I am actually picking him up this weekend because he just finished Steve's 4 month beginner program. He breeds as well, and has some of the prettiest dogs around, so he may even have the dog you're looking for. I have seen his dogs work along with dogs from Chuck and Jay, and their dogs are not even a match to Steve's. Look him up online at 'Bear Creek on the Bayou Retriever's' and give him a call. You'll be glad you did
I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully this cool front will push them back South. I'm just hoping there's enough food source to keep them down there. Any reports from this week will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I read the same report, but that doesn't say much for the duck population. I hunt WMA and leased land as well. I just don't have the time to make the 3.5 hour ride south to check it out
This wouldn't happen to be the boats of Norris would it? And is that Chipper on the back of the boat?
