As I said, I've been a member since the 80's and LM since 2003 and do not and have not received "Junk mail" from NAHC. The magazines come out every other month (6 per year). There's a lot of good articles on hunting and new hunting products (i.e. guns, amo, bows, equipment, clothing, etc...). And no it's not the NRA! Good luck with you decision!
I've been a member since the 1980's and became a life member in August 2003. The NAHC magazines are very good reading and worth the money. As far as free stuff, I've been picked several times to test hunting products and submit a report and yes you get to keep the product for free (no catch). The NAHC has a bunch of fine hunters/sportsman for members, just like Louisiana Sportsman and the price is affordable. After being an off and on member since the 1980s, I decided it was worth becoming a Life Member. When I applied to be a Life Member, NAHC applied my previous paid yearly dues towards my Life Membership. They will send you and/or offer you the option to purchase quality hunting products from time to time. If you dont want them, you do not have to purchase them. They have a website similar to this one for members. They appear to be dedicated to the sport of hunting and I am proud to be a member of the NAHC.Hope that helps explain what NAHC is about.Proud NAHC LM Since 2003!
As much as I love to hunt, I just hate when other hunters do not think! With this photo, you just gave the so called animal rights groug more reason to take away our sport. Thanks a lot!
I don't see any horns, could be a doe....??? You better ground check it first!
Bring her over here and I'll be happy to show you!!!
I have an Optima pro and my son has an Optima. We shoot the 295gr Aero Tips, they group very well. My son uses 100grs triple 7 and I use 150grs. Just to let you and everyone else know, this is a great muzzleloader and I would match it up against any muzzleloader on the market today. A friend of mine had a TC Omega and hated it, after sending it back to the factory twice, just months after purchasing it he got rid of it and bought a CVA Optima pro and has not had any problems with it.
