Looking for a storage shed in Venice for November-January. Every place seems to be full. I know End of the Line sheds rents for a year. Anyone not needing those months id be willing to pay. Call/Text (504)343-6820
I have caught probably 6-7 with no spots and always have been told they were farm raised. I am not sure how true this is, but people have said farm raised reds don't have spots because unlike other red fish they don't need the spot for a defense mechanism. I have always been told a redfish had the spot to serve as a decoy of the fishs eye and when attacked they could get away. AGAIN, this is what I have been told not proven.
Its farm raised.
Blamming surface drives is just a horrible excuse. If you are in an area that is honestly affected by people that drive through it 10 times a day you need to move. It does not matter if you have a surface drive, go devil, outboard, or on foot. DUCKS WILL SPOOK. I do own a surface drive and i have one so i can where i need to go faster and as far away from people as i can. But this is a stupid arguement. If banning surface drives are bad for ducks, then wouldnt outboards be bad for fish?
onthevergeofpanik, how about you respond and tell us the real story? I guess you didnt realize that the guys that "stole your spot" would be on the site to tell the story how it really happened. We scouted that spot the thursday before the season and your "blind" was nowhere to be found. The day we saw you at the launch we got a late start and could get to "your" so called pond. I have no problem waking up early to get a spot that i know i put time in to scout i mean it beats paying for a lease right? So yes i woke up early friday, saturday, and sunday to hunt the pond that i had been scounting for weeks previous to teal season. But you know what? The day that you were in the pond you didnt see me get on the internet and B****. I just went to another pond that i SCOUTED and hunted there. Maybe you should spend more time sleeping to get out there early and less time on here whinning.
Hey this is andrew from the other blind...i didnt realize yall had a band!!
Went on a fishing trip wit capt. luke...had a blast and the lodge was very spacious and accommodating..
I 3rd the nova...mine is going on 5 years old...camo job still great and never had a problem with it...saturday, after the hunt took it apart to find mud got in somehow. Never missed a beat
I went ride last saturday and saw a bunch of ducks, then i went this saturday and saw less than half of the previous....if brids show back up, they will be gone after opening weekend due to all the hunters
RULE #1. It is not a lease, you cannot build a blind on WMA's. If you want to reserve a spot buy a lease and build a blind. I have two incounters this season with people saying i was hunting too close to "THEIR BLIND" These blinds dont mean anything!
there arent very many public places to walk to. But if you are interested in buying a go-devil, i have one for sale....And attached is the add for it.

not too much action....just got back ...killed 2 teal and a gray in 3 blinds...
by the way yall are talking...paddling with your gun and the other nova is in the intercoastal....i wouldnt think any of your guns would fire....i have been having a nova for 3 1.2 years ..no problems...and yes i have been rough with it..
not too many good reports coming out of there...hunted last wkend....3 and 4 teal each time thats abou it
yall didnt shoot them birds
Its not a ruddy duck, we have killed a lot of ruddy ducks this season in Lake Beouf. And ruddy ducks have no color on them this time of year.
It is a common goldeneye(hen), i killed one last week and wasnt sure what it was.. that it identical to mine
His username really fits his post. :) Just kidding. But just because someone owns a 'Prodrive' doesn't always mean they are 'Lazy'. Sometimes you have to adapt. The same people that are buying surface drives NOW are the same ones that were driving a long tail 10 years ago being negative about them. I am a surface drive owner AND I breast 80% of my ducks. Personal preference. I guess you all that ONLY pluck your birds cut out the rib meat of every deer you kill too?? Lighten up and give all this new technology a chance!
