In 1975, with a growing family and an interest in becoming his own boss, Jerry’s Marine opened their doors in Sulphur, Louisiana. Jerry became a Certified Mercury Master Technician in 1978.
Jerry followed in his father’s footsteps and became one of the top Mercury Outboard Dealers in the US with numerous Awards for Mercury Outboard Sales and Service. With the business growing at an alarming rate, Jerry had soon outgrown his original location. In 1988, Jerry moved into the larger facility he now occupies on Highway 27 South in Sulphur, Louisiana. Jerry has continued to remain at the top of the list for Mercury Outboard Sales and Service.
And Jerry’s racing career….With a Multitude of High Point Championships and World Records, in several classes including Bass Boat Classes, Jerry has the Most Successful Outboard Racing Team in the World, with the credentials to prove it. This speaks volumes for Jerry’s’ expertise and knowledge when it comes to outboards and performance.
