Yesterday I had the pleasure of fishing with Dan and Doug Robin, also Billy Pfleeger. The guys heard all about the big fish we had been catching. They called me up and I picked them up in front of Dan's camp.
We headed to Breton Sound while the wind was calm. It didn't take long to fill 150 qt. cooler by 8 o'clock with reds and sheepshead.
The guys had a great time and they were a great group to fish with. If you want to catch some fish and have some fun, Fishing Magician Charters is the one.
This evening I took some of the Entergy group that is down to fish for tomorrow. The guys wanted to get out for a little while to try their luck. We caught 10 reds and 1 black drum, not bad for a little while.

Fishing Magician Charters
Today I had the pleasure of taking out a great group of guys who work for Entergy. They came down to stay at their camp and enjoy some time working and relaxing.
The guys were Rod West, John Kingston, Billy Lawler, Shelby Gross, Ronnie Durant, Elwin Draughon, Arron Harris, Wilfred Ferbos, and Richard Klibert. Capt. Wayne Melerine helped me with the trip.
Early this morning we picked everyone up and headed to Breton Sound where we have been catching reds and sheepshead. It was a successful day. By the end of the day we had 4 boxes of fish. The guys had a great time and we did too.
On the way out this morning there was a 1' chop and on the way in there was a 2' chop. The best part about fishing the sound is you don't have to worry about knats. On the way in I did notice quite a few dead redfish still in the sound. The Wildlife and Fisheries did check me 2 days ago and when they did I asked them what they thought about all the dead reds. They said that a few of the fish were picked up and brought in for testing to see what the cause was. So, hopefully we will find out the results soon.

Fishing Magician Charters Three day report.
Last Thursday I fished with Danny Kington and his friend Steve. We fished the Lake Borgne area where we caught 12 Trout. When the wind picked up Danny called it a day. Danny likes to fish the lake because he likes learning new spots that he can get to quickly from Shell Beach.
Friday evening James, Wayne, Roc, and Brad came in from Monroe, LA to stay at our lodge. They knew the weather wasn't going to be the best, but this was the only weekend they could all get together. Friday night the guys had jambalaya, potato soup with shrimp and crabs, seafood salad, and bread pudding for dessert. Saturday we fished the Biloxi Marsh. We left right before the weather hit. When it started raining and lightening I took them to a camp I know. It helps to know the places in the marsh that can be used to get out of the weather.
After the weather passed we fished some ponds. The guys caught red fish, puppy drum, and a few trout. So, the day wasn't lost after all. They went back to the lodge and had another big feast.
Today we fished the ponds and the Biloxi Marsh. We limited out on reds (3-6 lbs)and had 8 trout. The guys ended up having a good trip after all. All the guys had a great time and said they couldn't wait to come back.

Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Greg Ellis, Rene, Mark, and Mike. Mark flew in to visit and enjoy some of our great fishing.
I picked everyone at our lodge and headed to the Biloxi Marsh. We fished the Lake Eugene area catching

We tried to find clean water, but we had no luck. The knats weren't bad and everyone, including me, had a great time. Today I had the pleasure of fishing with James and Mark, some old friends of mine. We have been friends for many years and it was a pleasure to fish with them today.
This morning we got an early start and headed to Bay Eloi. We fished some wells around Deadman Island. The guys put 60 trout(12-18') in the boat. All fish were caught 2' under a popping cork using 3' Tsunami Seatrout

Fishing Magician Charters
Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Tommy Maestri, Tommy's son, and three buddies. I picked them up at Tommy's camp, bright and early this morning.
Our first stop today was Bay Eloi. We made about 3 stops picking up a few trout before the wind picked up. Then, we moved to the inside bay which is Christmas Camp Lake. In that area we put a few more fish into the boat and then the guys called it a day with the total of:

5 Reds
1 Flounder

Fishing Magician Charters
Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Johnny Little and his friend T.W. I picked the guys up at the lodge, and then we headed to the Breton Sound. It took us 2 stops today. We caught 75 Speckled trout (1 1/2 - 3 lbs), 1 Bull Red, and 5 Channel Mullets by 9:30. All fish were caught fishing Carolina rig on the bottom using live shrimp. The guys will be fishing tomorrow and I will write another report then.

Fishing Magician Charters
Second day with John Little and W.A. Moore. We fished the Breton Sound and caught 75 Speckled Trout(1 1/2 - 4 lbs.) and W.A. caught one 30lb Bull Red. It took us a little longer catching today than yesterday. But, the guys stayed with it, eventhough we had a lot of rain.
All fish were caught on bottom using Campo's live shrimp. The guys will be back in Sept. for another 2-3 days. I'm fishing tomorrow and I will report then. Check out the pictures.

Fishing Magician Charters
Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Rene, AJ and David. I picked everyone up at the lodge, then we stopped at Campo's for our bait. Then, we headed out to the Breton Sound.
It took us quite a few stops to catch 65 trout(1 1/2 - 3 lbs), and we limited out on Bull Reds. We did leave some reds go to fight another day. We got onto a couple of good trout bites, but the sharks were so bad that we couldn't get a whole fish up. So, we had to keep moving.

Today I had the pleasure of fishing with David, Cliff, Robert, and Wayne. We got an early start and headed to Breton Sound. The guys didn't have any trouble putting:

All fish were caught on live shrimp fishing Carolina Rig on the bottom. The day was beautiful today and in some spots the water was beautiful. As for the rain, the showers came and went, just summertime weather.
